POWERtalk Pollokshields 6th March, 2019.

Theme:   Mad as a March Hare.

Pollokshields were delighted to welcome two new members Regina and Lauren.

The President opened the meeting and introduced the Chair for the evening - Brendan.
Various topics were given by Lauren, Grace, Louise and Roz with March and Spring as the Theme.

An excellent Education Session was given by Louise on the correct way to run a meeting.   A good reminder to us all.

Following the tea interval Regina gave her "Icebreaker" speech which was both entertaining and informative - well done!
The second speech was by our President, Scilla.   Scilla's speech on March Hares was fascinating as usual and included a large amount of information..

The President then ran a short Business Meeting to deal with the Club's Constitution and the meeting of 17th April.

The General evaluation was by Liz and the VOT and closing thought was by Carole.
This was a warm and friendly meeting with a surprising number of approaches to the theme.

Date of next meeting:   20th March, 2019.
Due to the fact that the school is closed that day this meeting will be held in the home of a member.
